Ministry Of Praise!

Ministry of Praise is driven to reach out to the Community to bring awareness to our youth. Ministry of Praise offers summer camp to the community during the summer as well as other services during the fall season.


Ministry of Praise offer many services to the people in our community, such as Information and Referral, Tutorial Program that ensures each youth are excelling Academically, Mentoring Program to guide our youth in the positive direction, Open Rap Forum Workshops, Parent Support Groups, Budgeting, Basketball, Stepping and Drama as an extra curricular activity sport. Our services would not be successful without the support of our community partners.   

Ministry of Praise originated in 2000 by Ra’Shay W. Garrett, a former resident of San Francisco and currently now resides in Suisun City, CA. She discovered the need in Solano County and brought the program there. Ministry of Praise was recognized by the Daily Republic servicing over 78 children and 39 families in the community. Ministry of Praise was also recognized December 2008 in the Daily Republic, making dreams a reality for a mother with 5 children whom was struggling to give her children a Christmas after being in a shelter.


Our goal is that our children in our community be recognized and honored all over the United States. As part of the community, our hopes are to inform and let the people in our community be aware of the services that we offer year round.


Our After School / Tuturial Program is located in Vallejo, CA Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 - 6:00pm and Wednesday from 3:00-5:00pm at the JFK Library 505 Santa Clara Street for one on one support. Our Summer Camp program is located at 301 Farragut Street, Vallejo, CA beginning June - August from 8:00am - 3:00pm

Ministry of Praise also is in partnership with Prosperity Inc and RWG Productions. Where we have inspired our youth to become entrepreneurs and to focus on their vision whether it be fashion, writing or etc. Our youth has experienced the business of sales, customer service and more. Prosperity, Inc distributes clothing apparrel, jewelry, lastest fashion of men and women shoes, body fragrances and more. RWG promotes opportunity for inviduals to become an entrepreneur.
